π° Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 plus £5,000 car allowance

Our client, a leading organisation in their field, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team in East Sussex. As a Financial Accountant, you will play a vital role in the production and review of month-end financial statements and consolidation adjustments, ensuring compliance with IFRS reporting standards. π Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Production and review of all month-end consolidation adjustments for our client
- Calculation of share-based payments charges and liabilities
- Production and review of month-end journals for our client and all holding entities within the group, including accruals and provisions
- Collaborating closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to finalise month-end results
- Conducting monthly balance sheet reconciliations, providing insightful commentary on movements and taking ownership of specific balance sheet areas
- Leading monthly control meetings related to balance sheet areas
- Providing data to external auditors
β Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
- Qualification as a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA)
- Ability to analyse, summarise, and provide insightful commentary on data
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
- Excellent reconciliation skills and attention to detail
π Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
The following qualifications and experience will be advantageous:
- Familiarity with IFRS reporting standards
