Interim Legal Counsel (6-Month Contract)
Are you a qualified lawyer with expertise in cross-border marketing regulatory matters? This is a unique opportunity to join a global financial institution on a 6-month interim basis.
The Role:
As Legal Counsel, you'll lead all legal aspects of the company's Cross-Border Marketing Framework. You'll play a pivotal role in its implementation, expansion, and ongoing management, ensuring the business operates within legal and regulatory boundaries across banking and capital markets products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing transaction-specific legal advice on cross-border marketing matters.
- Managing updates to internal and external country guides in collaboration with external counsel.
- Advising on licensing and cross-border regulatory issues.
- Delivering training and developing resources to ensure compliance with the framework.
- Reporting on progress to senior stakeholders and contributing to board committee updates.
About You:
You'll be a qualified lawyer with approximately 3+ years' post-qualification experience from a reputable law firm or financial institution. Your background should include:
- Expertise in cross-border marketing regulatory matters and related licensing issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Proven experience managing external counsel and delivering high-quality legal advice under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with banking and capital markets products is advantageous.
