Operations Associate - Settlements

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our client's dynamic team as an Operations Associate - Settlements. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with various departments, including compliance, sales & trading, the CIO, CFO, and COO. The successful candidate will have the chance to specialise in fixed income products and gain exposure to different geographical markets. Our client, is an innovative independent investment boutique that focuses on trading high yield bonds, distressed/defaulted/illiquid fixed income securities, and bankruptcy claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle settlement processes, including trade and transaction reporting
• Specialise in areas such as HY, EM or Convertible Bonds, Bankruptcy Claims, Distressed/Defaulted Debt, Loans and NPLs, LPs, Side Pockets, Listed and Unlisted Equity
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure efficient and accurate settlement operations
• Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations in this space

Qualifications and Skills:

• Eligible to work in the United Kingdom
• Strong team player with excellent multitasking abilities
• Proven track record of high performance and efficiency
• Sound understanding of compliance obligations in settlements
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an investment bank, financial brokerage, or asset management
• Creative and innovative thinker with a drive to build a successful career in operations
