Private Equity Associate 4+PQE
Our client, a global law firm with a strong presence in key capital cities and financial centres worldwide, is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Private Equity Associate to join their dynamic London team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a team of experienced professionals and contribute to the firm's continued success in the private equity sector.
As a Private Equity Associate, your role will involve advising private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and management teams on a wide range of matters, including auction and buyout processes, investments, exits, and corporate advisory work. You will play a key role in drafting and negotiating preliminary documentation, conducting legal due diligence, and working closely with clients to ensure their needs are met.
Skills and qualifications:
- Strong experience working on multiple private equity transactions
- Excellent drafting and technical skills
- England and Wales Qualified
- Market knowledge of typical terms on private equity transactions (preferred)
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including strong presentation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and stay calm
- Ideally, previous experience working in the London office of an international firm
