Audit Manager
Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Assist the audit partner in planning, executing, and completing audit assignments for a variety of clients.
- Prepare management and statutory accounts for limited companies and groups.
- Create corporation tax calculations and returns for corporate clients.
- Provide assistance with compliance tasks, including VAT returns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Train and supervise junior team members, supporting their continued development and professional growth.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
- Experience in audit, accounting, and tax services, with a strong understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax legislation.
- Proficient in using audit, accounting, and tax software.
- Full clean driver's license: Able to travel to client sites as required.
- Strong organisational skills: Capable of working efficiently under pressure and managing multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills: Confident in liaising with clients and internal teams, offering clear guidance and updates.
