LHH is currently recruiting for a GIS Analyst for a permanent role with our client in the Dallas, TX area. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience designing GIS maps preferably at a commercial real estate firm. This is an onsite position at our client’s office in the Dallas, TX area.


Responsibilities:


· Design and produce high-quality maps and spatial visualizations for reports, presentations, and public-facing materials


· Analyze and interpret geographic data to support planning, development, and operational projects


· Maintain and update geospatial databases, ensuring data quality and integrity


· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project needs and tailor GIS outputs accordingly


· Implement GIS tools and workflows for spatial analysis, data modeling, and visualization


· Troubleshoot and solve technical GIS-related issues


· Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and advancements in GIS and cartography


Qualifications:


· Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or a related field.


· Minimum 3 years of experience working with GIS software and tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)


· Commercial real estate experience highly preferred


· Strong knowledge of spatial data types, geodatabases, and map projections


· Experience working with GIS layers, remote sensing data, and geospatial datasets


· Proficiency in tools like ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, QGIS, and data visualization platforms


· Familiarity with SQL, Python, or JavaScript for GIS workflows is a plus


· Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail


· Ability to work independently and in a team setting, managing multiple projects simultaneously


· Ability to work onsite at our client’s office in the Dallas area
