LHH has partnered with a growing construction company in search for an Accounts Receivable Manager. This role will manage customer credit limits, collections, and the Preliminary Notice/Release process. The ideal candidate will drive improvements in the AR department, standardizing processes and ensuring effective communication and accountability.
Key responsibilities of this Accounts Receivable Manager include:
Lead and mentor a team.
Oversee AR aging and address accounts past due.
Set and manage credit terms for new and existing customers.
Handle the preliminary notice and lien release process.
Reconcile customer accounts and maintain strong customer relationships.
Provide backup support for payment applications, lien releases, and customer inquiries.
Prepare AR reports by analyzing and summarizing account data for management.
Ensure accurate and timely entry of AR information to meet month-end deadlines.
Oversee month-end duties.
Minimum qualifications:
5+ years of experience in accounts receivable with 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
Experienced with preliminary notices and lien releases.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to meet tight deadlines consistently.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
