Key Responsibilities:



  • Oversee and manage engineering staff and activities, ensuring quality and timeliness in all projects.


  • Develop and implement programs to drive team performance towards departmental and organizational goals.


  • Coordinate technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.


  • Provide technical and administrative direction to engineering staff, including coaching, training, and evaluating employee performance.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.


  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience, particularly in capital or construction projects.


  • Experience in landfill or environmental protection, with an understanding of landfill structure, environmental impact, and permitting.


  • 1-2 years of leadership experience, strong people management skills, and P&L management experience.


  • Background in environmental projects, quarries, or mines is highly desirable.


  • Proven track record in managing large and multiple projects.


Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 + 25% bonus (possible flexibility)


Location: Must be commutable to Lodi, CA; Sacramento, CA; or Oakland, CA. Candidates in Reno, NV must be able to commute for in-office meetings and business reviews. Travel to sites within a 2-hour distance is required, with a car allowance provided.
