Please note that this is an onsite job opportunity. After initial training, this role could potentially become hybrid and you may be able to work from home 1-2 days per week.

Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading company to fill their open Accounts Payable Specialist job in Lone Tree, CO. To qualify, you must have at least two years of recent, relevant experience processing full-cycle accounts payable.

This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $23.00 and $26.00 per hour. You will also be eligible for this company’s very competitive benefits package (details below).

Responsibilities:

• Processing and approving invoices for payment
• Preparing weekly check runs
• Responding to vendors’ and internal customers’ inquiries regarding payments
• Monitoring aged payables and keeping vendor accounts current
• Researching and resolving invoice issues and discrepancies
• Assisting with setting up vendors in the payment system
• Reconciling vendor statements to the AP ledger
• Preparing 1099s
• All other related tasks as required

Qualifications:

• At least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar accounts payable role
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent internal and external customer service skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance or a related field preferred

Compensation:

• Hourly rate between $23.00 and $26.00
