Job Summary:

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Development Associate to join our client’s team. The primary responsibility of this role is to process and manage donor gifts using Raiser’s Edge. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate data entry, donor acknowledgment, and maintaining the integrity of the organization’s donor database.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Process incoming gifts and donations into Raiser’s Edge, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.


  • Maintain and update donor records in the database to ensure data integrity.


  • Generate acknowledgment letters, receipts, and other donor correspondence as needed.


  • Support the Development team in preparing donor reports and data analyses.


  • Assist in reconciling donations with the Finance team to ensure accurate record-keeping.


  • Respond to donor inquiries and provide excellent customer service.


  • Contribute to the improvement of database processes and systems.


  • Perform other administrative tasks to support the Development department as required.



Qualifications:



  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in gift processing or database management, preferably in the non-profit sector.


  • Proficiency in Raiser’s Edge or a similar donor management system.


  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.


  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.


  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.



Job Type: Long-Term Contract



Work Schedule:

This is a hybrid position, with a combination of in-office and remote work. The specific schedule will be determined in alignment with organizational needs.
